Jacques Tournoy - Coaching License “D”

KC Milan was founded by long time coach and player Jacques Tournoy. Jacques has played soccer for over 30 years. He played at both Park University and UMKC. He also has over 15 years experience working for Kansas City professional teams. He worked for both the original Comets, the Attack and was a Vice-President for the Kansas City Wizards. With his own business he partnered with the YMCA of Greater Kansas City and ran clinics for their league programs in 2004-05.

Jacques has coached youth teams in Kansas City for over 25 years. He was an assistant coach at Shawnee Mission North High School in 1989. He has a “D” coaching license and is planning on obtaining his “C” level this year. Currently he is the head coach of the U-14 KC Milan Boys, U-13 KC Milan Rossoneri Boys and U-12 KC Milan Girls teams. Absalom Solorio along with two of his Milan teammates have moved on to the Sporting KC Jrs. Program. Jacques has a history of developing players. Before KC Milan was formed Nick Kelly of the Missouri Comets played for Jacques when he coached the KC Apollos.

Bryan Carver - Goalkeeping Coach - Coaching License “F”

Bryan Carver has been coaching players & goalkeepers with KC Milan since 2006. He’s a long time player and goalkeeper himself. He has played soccer at all levels in Kansas City for over 25 years. Bryan has developed KC Milan goalkeepers into some of the best in the city. He holds a “F” coaching license and is planning on obtaining his “D” soon.

Bryan is the head coach of the U-12 Rossoneri Boys Team. On a regular basis he attends all KC Milan practices helping improve the technique of goalkeepers in the club.

Kirk French - Coaching Consultant - Coaching License “A”

Kirk’s role is as a consultant for KC Milan. Kirk holds a USSF National “A” Coaching License. He currently coaches several teams with the SW United Soccer Club. Kirk has coached soccer in Kansas City for over 25 years. He also worked in professional soccer for the Kansas City Comets and Attack. Kirk hosts clinics that help raise the knowledge and skill levels of both KC Milan coaches and players.
